Krombach Valves

Krombach® is best known for its unique ability to manufacture large quarter turn valves, including fabricated butterfly valves up to 136”, triple offset valves, metal-seated ball valves, and check valves. Typical applications include severe-service conditions in corrosive, abrasive, high temperature, gases, chemical, mining, and pharmaceutical processes, among others.
KROMBACH® TUFSEAT Performance Series Ball Valves
The Performance Series Krombach® Metal Seated Ball Valve combines critical safety and performance features required for demanding service applications in chemical and refining markets.
Features And Benefits
- LONGER SERVICE LIFE: Consistent seat leak performance and torque throughout the life of the valve for HIGH CYCLE AND SLURRY APPLICATIONS.
- LOW VALVE OPERATING TORQUE: Reduced initial investment cost of automation through HIGH EFFICIENCY PACKING and LIVE LOADED SEATS.
- TIGHT INDUSTRY STANDARD INLINE LEAKAGE: Bi-Directional, Class V or VI Seat leakage (API-598/FCI 70.2) through PRECISION LAPPING of ball and seats for a perfect fit.

KROMBACH® TUFSEAT Severe Service Ball Valves

The Severe Service Series Krombach® Metal Seated Ball Valves offer critical safety and performance benefits for refining, petrochemical, and other demanding process applications. Our modular valves are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, pressures, solids/abrasion and high cycles.
Features And Benefits
- INTERCHANGEABLE BALL AND SEAT DESIGN: The Krombach® Metal Seated Ball Valves offer an innovative interchangeable ball and seat design that ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR MATCH LAPPING to produce better than class VI shutoff.
- LONGER LASTING VALVE: Increased valve lifetime, using ADVANCED FINISHES ON CRITICAL SURFACES and tailoring coatings and seat designs for each application.
- STANDARD BI-DIRECTIONAL SEALING: Protects equipment from internal back pressure and processes contamination, also RESOLVES SAFETY CONCERNS associated with valve installation.

KROMBACH® Double Offset Butterfly Valves Type AK120 & AK125

Krombach® Double-Offset Butterfly Valves (AK120 / AK 125) come in fabricated design till 144″ and feature a unique double offset sealing technology, with the soft sealing element on the disc, improving sealing performance, reliability and lifetime in various operating conditions combined with highest flexibilities towards the valve design and specification.
Features And Benefits
- Rubber-lined sealing element Rubberlined sealing on the disc facilitates maintenance, reduces friction between seat and seal in the first 10 degrees on opening and last 10 degrees of closing. This extends the service life.
- Available in single or bidirectional configurations, the locking device secures disc position while maintenance is performed on the disc, facilitating in-line repair and enhancing safety.
- Rubber lined options deliver superior performance and protect sensitive valve components in corrosive applications.
